It's clear. Unless and until it's proven safe, we should ban Roundup.
Chain Reaction IV: Burger Edition
Wall Street, Big banks, and their allies in Congress are working to strip away vital consumer protections we rely on every day.
Maryland PIRG’s consumer program works to alert the public to hidden dangers and scams and to ban anti-consumer practices and unsafe products.
Democracy For The People
Stanching the flow of special interest money in our elections.
Healthy Kids, Healthy Maryland
We need to do more to regulate toxic chemicals and prevent vulnerable populations, like women of reproductive age, developing children and workers from being unwittingly exposed to toxic chemicals.
We’re committed to a vision of a healthier future. A future where all families and communities have access to clean air, and safe drinking water. Where the food we eat is not only good for us, but it’s grown in ways that are good for the planet. A future where we are secure in the knowledge that we can all live healthy lives.
Make VW Pay
VW cheated the public and must be held accountable.
PIRG Consumer Watchdog
For more than 40 years, we’ve been educating consumers how to protect themselves and their rights. We fight to get dangerous products off store shelves, to end exploitative practices, and ensure a level playing field in the marketplace. And we advocate for new rules, institutions and policies to defend consumers from the economic and political power of special interests. Right now, our Watchdog team is focused on consumer threats from data breaches to dangerous toys.
Your donation supports Maryland PIRG's work to stand up for consumers on the issues that matter, especially when powerful interests are blocking progress.
