Establishing minimum efficiency standards for our appliances will save energy, protect public health, and lower utility bills.  

Today, we testified on legislation introduced by Del. Hornberger to establish the right to repair for farm equpiment in Maryland. 

Today, we testified in support of SB 895 to enshrine rights into the Maryland constitution for transparency for political spending and for publicly financed elections.

Today, we testified in support of SB 358 to expand public campaign financing to elections for Maryland Senate and the House of Delegates.

Numerous studies, including one by the Consumer Brand Association, have shown that most consumers assume the chasing arrows symbol signifies that an item is able to be recycled. Many of us take the time to check every container we use, and if we see that chasing arrows symbol somewhere on the container, we rinse it out thoroughly, and throw it in the recycling bin.
